New Features to Buying and Selling Art Online

New Features to Buying and Selling Art Online

There are so many new features to Buying and Selling Art Online. The internet is an awesome tool to reach a large audience and it surely provides a more convenient way to do business for selling both original work and prints. I can’t imagine how artist’s made a living selling art more than 15 years ago. We live in a world that has so much competition. Without the internet it’s tough to reach a large audience.
Fine Art America solves two big problems for both the artist’s and the person buying the art. Best of all Fine Art America is a free service. Now when the buyer is moved by that emotional “click” and they can’t afford the original painting, they have the optional to instantly purchase the print in any size of their choice and shop for any of the accessories all in one visit, saving themselves time, money and confusion.
I love knowing that I can now own an original painting, and someone can also buy prints of it, making it an awesome deal. The prints are fantastic and allow a much wider audience to appreciate my work. But no matter how nice they are, they don't compare to the original, and I don't think anyone would mistake one for the other. Someone once bought a painting of mine and then ask me not to sell any prints of it in exchange for more money. I made the agreement.
I spoke with several of my artist friends in the past about how great it would be to be able to do prints of our work. Up front it ordinarily would cost a ton on money and having the place to store them in a closet. I don’t have the time to take care of the packing, handling, shipping, and storage. If I had to do it all myself, it just wouldn't get done on time.
Now I have a great place where I can simply and quickly upload images. Fine Art America takes care of all the logistics of processing and shipping the prints. Many people inquire by email about how they can get affordable prints. Now I can direct everyone to my personal print shop where they can customize the order with all the accessories.

Happy Shopping !

Buying Art Online From A Reputable Oil Painter

Buying Art Online From A Reputable Oil Painter

There are a few reasons for us to buy art. You may want a decoration for your home, allowing your walls to speak with personality and warmth. You may want to give a special present to express your affections to someone who loves art, in knowing they will own a one of a kind gift. Another reason to buy art is as an investment in order to sell it later for a higher price. In both these cases the originality of the piece is crucial. Here are some suggestions of how to verify the originality of the artwork you intend to buy.
You may also be an independent collector, or working as a buyer for a certain institute. These are very different purposes for buying art, and each purpose defines its own demands. Consider not only the piece itself, but the range of prices and the reputation of the artist by reading up on reviews and the press. Once you have defined all these elements, looking for the exact piece that suits you will be much easier. If you can afford an original historical piece you might want to also consider hiring an artist to paint a reproduction. How awesome is that!
Don't be afraid to trust your own intuition. In buying art your personal taste is the final test. You cannot buy something you absolutely hate just because the artist is very popular and it is a good investment. Consider the style, skill and over all concept. Are you looking for something different or a painting that is popular in theme and color composition.
The best choice always takes into account that emotional "click" between you and the piece. If the emotional click is there you may even want to take it a step further and request a custom painting of your choice. This way you can allow room for the artist to contribute to the her or his artistic enhancement of your concept.
There are many artists with amazing technique. But excellent art needs more than technique. A good piece of art should always have that touch of brilliance and skill, with the ability to communicate something which is more than just the image, but of something powerful.

I have included a video demonstation of an oil painter painting a reproduction for your enjoyment.

Save Money Purchasing Fine Art from Artist's Online

There are so many talented artist’s out there who are struggling. They paint, sculpt or take photographs because they feel it's what they were born to do. Many of them aren't represented by galleries and all they want to do is make a decent living by selling what they create. Many of them create beautiful, expressive work that is worthy of being displayed in some of the finest galleries, but they choose to sell their work online for a many of reasons.
The best reason is because it's really a win-win situation for both the artist and the buyer. In most cases, the art is quite affordable. The artist gets to sell his or her art quickly without the interference of galleries.
With online artist websites in general, artists get more money because the work is sold without the price cuts from the gallery. Galleries often charge artists commissions of 50-60% on paintings sold. Who wants to pay that? It's unreal. So take your time and communicate with the artist directly. You will feel a deeper sense of appreciation for the work because you will feel connected to the artist and at the same time you have the opportunity to build a sincere business relationship.
This way the buyer gets an affordable, original work of art. Clearly, as a collector, when you decide to buy a painting from an artist online, you should feel that you are supporting them. What could be better than that?
Oh, and I don’t want to forget to mention that most artist’s almost always guarantees their work. In addition if you see a painting you like, but would love to have it in a different size, you can request to commission the artist for a painting in the size you need.
So, go ahead and search online for quality artist’s who create quality work and save money, time and frustration.
